What's happened since 2008?

Holy crap! *dusts it off* another week and I would have forgotten this account exists!!! Thankfully, I remembered, and was just enduring a bit of blog nosalgia from my livejournal, which I have linked back to here.

So where did I leave off?

2008:
My Rock band (Delinquent Mary, now just D.M.)  had broken up that year, and I had gotten a job doing security close to my parents house. Life was going swell up until my computer died in the middle of the year. With that, I had lost most of my personal edge, my urge to blog and be more involved with people. So, I worked. As the building changed, I did not. I had not felt anything great since my graduation, and I was getting older.

2009:
Early in the year I had gotten engaged, and was ready to walk down the aisle with my then girlfriend Caitlin. And like everyone, I had become infatuated with Lady Gaga (which I admit i still do). The summer yielded some good results, as I had saw a concert of the band CKY, and it changed my life and perspective on everything and anything. My band had also decided to get back together and work on a song or two. Kumoricon was especially memorable that year, as that was the very first convention where I felt legitimately pissed off in the end. But by then I had made friends with an interesting and outgoing girl named Meagen, which seemed to make the con-drama much less painful. To top that, later in the fall, some drama occured with my singer, Brody, and the band was on hiatus for about 4 or 5 months.

2010:
During this time, I had started my Rocky Horror career with the Denton Delinquents, where most of my friends went every other week, and I would do lights for the shadowcast, which ended abruptly when my ride to the show started a bit of drama with the Rocky Regulars and cast members and decided never to go back again.

To celebrate our engagement, my then fiancee had a fun vacation with me which helped me put things into perspective and better organize myself.

Then the summer came along that was one of the most memorable. Nothing but good times, partying and listening to finally some decent pop music on the radio. Unfortunately my summer was dulled down when my fiancee ended the engagement and our relationship, leaving me in shambles until I had come back in contact with my friend Meagen from Kumoricon. As it turns out, none of us went to con that year, and  were glad of it. Eventually Meagen and I became an item, and I was happy, considering the band was also going somewhere very quickly.

2011:
The beginning of the year had yielded the biggest change in my life. I had moved out of my parent's for the first time and lived semi independently in a house with 7 roommates. It felt great to have some independence and felt like I can do this on my own. At this time, I was finally able to come out as a Third Gender, and be able to dress in both genders whenever I wanted.  For once, I felt like my age.  Unfortunately, 7 months flew by, and all of a sudden we were going to lose the place. (I'm not pointing fingers as to who wasn't contributing) So I had decided in one last ditch effort, that I was going to make some money to devote all my time into my art.

I had then quit my job of 3 years to go to Astoria to work in the fish canneries to make some money, as well as do a little soul-searching. Unfortunately, plans changed (or absolutely 'Hindenburg Fail"). I then ended up back at my parents house to get back on my feet.

Tune in next time...
